Oats Porridge

Oats porridge is one of my son’s favorite snacks. It is healthy, delicious and very simple to make. You can add variety to it by garnishing with nuts and fruits.

Oats porridge is an excellent start to the day and has a high amount of dietary fibre. This helps fill you up and prevents you from overeating.

Oats Porridge
Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons oats
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tbsp cashew nuts / raisins (optional)

Method

Add oats, water and milk to a pan and bring to boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Keep on heat till it is the consistency you like. So simple and quick

Garnish with nuts or fruit.
