Tangy Fish

One of the simple ways to make fish for you baby to just cook it plain. But babies don’t like that.

They like it to taste good. This is one of the ways in which I cook fish for my one and a half year old son.

He just loves the tanginess of the fish. I used Lady fish to make this but you can use any fish with less bones.

Ingredients

  • 200 gms fish (I used Lady Fish)
  • small piece of kodapulli (sweet tamarind)
  • 1/4 turmeric powder
  • salt
  • 1 sliced garlic
  • 1 sliced pearl onion
  • curry leaves

Method

Clean the fish and marinate with salt and turmeric powder for 15 minutes.

Take the fish in a pan and put in water to just cover the fish. Add the tamarind piece, garlic, onions and curry leaves.

Cover and cook till fish is done. Shake the pan occasionally to prevent sticking.

Serve with rice or just like that.
