When I was new to cooking, one thing used to always worry me in the morning. The question “What to make for breakfast?“. But now, I have a standard menu of items I can rotate through for breakfast. So I have prepared a sample list of items which can be prepared for breakfast. You can use this for ideas for breakfast and be worry-free.
One tip for the week ahead is to make batter for Idli and Dosa using the steps outlined here. This batter can then be used for the next 2-3 days to make breakfast quickly. You can also grate coconut and keep in fridge for the next 2 days to make coconut chutney. The benefit of doing all this on Sunday is that your weekday mornings will be hassle free.
I love dosas in all forms and yummy Rava dosas are quick to make in the morning.
Thursday you can make something light like Poha. This just requires you to have some rice flakes and peanuts at home.
Generally, I like to relax on Saturdays and make something easy like these egg and toast cups.
