Ever wondered what to do with left over chapathis? Generally when this is the case for me, I quickly go ahead and make these yummy rolls.
They are really quick to make and kids adore it as they are fun finger food.
- 1 chapathi
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion / 1/2 onion
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/8 tsp chilli powder
- 1/8 tsp pepper powder
- coriander leavers
Whisk the egg with pepper powder and salt. Mix the sliced onions with lemon juice, chilli, turmeric and and salt.
Heat little oil in a pan. Pour the egg mixture and wait till half cooked. Then put the chapathi on top of it and flip in about a minute.
Put some of the prepared onions on top of it and roll the chapathi tightly on the pan. Press down with the spoon. Take off pan and cut into two pieces. Voila, tasty chapathi egg rolls are ready.
Serve hot with sauce or chutney.
